I am here to help mums reset in midlife
who are ready to focus on themselves again, change their lifestyle habits, shift those stubborn pounds, feel energized, and embrace their changing bodies – all while creating their best, most fulfilling chapter yet!
I’m Misha—a Midlife Reset Coach, coffee lover, gardening enthusiast, healthy cook, outdoor adventurer, and mum of two lively boys. I’m passionate about making a difference as a coach, and I’m certified in Nutritional Coaching as well as Life and Design Coaching. I also work as a Change Manager for a corporate company, helping teams adapt to new challenges. I bring some of these skills into my coaching, guiding women in midlife through the process of change—whether it’s transforming their nutrition, mindset, lifestyle or life purpose—to help them feel their best.
Realising Things Were Changing
Back in my early 20s, I was always on my feet—working as a waitress, walking everywhere, and going to the gym. I hardly had to think about staying fit; I just was. But fast-forward a bit, and suddenly I’m sitting at a desk for hours on end, surrounded by the office biscuit tin, and wondering why my jeans are feeling a little tighter each week.
I was still going to the gym, still running, but all the sitting around and snacking in between wasn’t doing me any favours. I’d try the usual “quick-fix” diets, lose a few pounds, only to watch them creep back on a few months later. The cycle was exhausting. Sound familiar?
Entering My 30s (and Becoming a Mum)
Then, I hit my 30s, became a mum, and things really started to go downhill. I was still eating the same, still exercising the same, but somehow the weight just kept adding up. Every time I looked in my wardrobe, it was like a cruel joke—nothing fit, and I’d stand there thinking, “How do I have nothing to wear when my closet is full?” And if I had a slice of cake (because hey, it’s someone’s birthday, right?), the guilt would hit me like a ton of bricks.
The Wake-Up Call
I’d push myself harder at the gym, cut calories, and yet nothing would change. I felt like I was doing everything “right” but getting nowhere. My energy was low, my motivation even lower, and I was stuck wondering, “Is this just midlife? Is this it?”
That’s when I realized: midlife isn’t just about trying harder—it’s about doing things differently. My body had changed. Hormones, metabolism, stress levels—it all played a role. And yet, I was still stuck in the “eat less, move more” mindset, treating the symptoms instead of the cause.
I needed a new approach. One that worked with my body, not against it. Because real, lasting change? It doesn’t start with cutting calories or spending more hours in the gym. It starts with understanding your body, shifting your mindset, and creating habits that actually fit your life.
The Power of Learning and Mindset Shift
So, I started looking beyond the usual diet-and-exercise advice and digging into what really makes a difference in midlife. Through all the research, self-experimentation (and, yes, a few slices of cake), I had a breakthrough: lasting change wasn’t just about what I was doing—it was about how I was thinking.
I had spent years focusing on fixing my body, but what I really needed was to change the way I saw myself. Because even after losing weight, I didn’t feel as fulfilled as I thought I would. That’s when I realized—midlife isn’t just about adjusting to physical changes; it’s also about rediscovering who you are. The things that once motivated me didn’t feel the same anymore. The goals I used to chase no longer excited me. And I wasn’t alone—so many women I spoke to felt the same way.
That’s when I took a step back and did the deeper work—shifting my mindset, reassessing my lifestyle, and asking the big questions: What actually makes me feel good? What do I want from this next phase of life? Instead of just going through the motions, I started creating a life that felt aligned, fulfilling, and exciting again.
I became a coach to help other women do the same—to move past the frustration of “what used to work,” embrace change, and create a life that feels just as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
Midlife Doesn’t Have to Mean Decline
What I learned is that midlife doesn’t have to be about slowing down or resigning to feeling sluggish or stuck. It’s the perfect time to make meaningful changes, rediscover your purpose, and embrace a new phase with energy and confidence. It’s about living with intention, and knowing why you’re making those changes.
My Coaching Philosophy:
The Three Pillars of Lasting Health
My coaching philosophy is built on three essential pillars: mindset, nutrition, and lifestyle habits. Why? Because real, sustainable change doesn’t come from one-off diets or surface-level advice. It comes from creating a balanced foundation that adapts to real life, not the other way around.
For those looking for deeper clarity, I also offer support in exploring life purpose, helping you create a more fulfilling and purposeful midlife.
Mindset: The Starting Point for Everything
Without the right mindset, you can have access to all the nutrition facts, meal plans, and advice in the world, but lasting change? That’s a different story. Old habits, mental barriers, and negative self-talk can quietly sabotage the best intentions. This pillar is all about breaking down those barriers and building the mental resilience to stay motivated. Think of it as the foundation of everything—without it, change struggles to stick.
Nutrition: Fueling Your Body (and Enjoying It)
Let’s face it—what worked in your 20s doesn’t cut it anymore. Now, it’s about eating for energy, balancing hormones, and managing weight in a way that actually works with your body (no crash diets or guilt trips over cake).
I’m a big fan of fasting, which is a powerful tool for managing cravings and giving the body a chance to reset. It’s not about going hungry, but about making the most of the time we spend eating to nourish and energize. Along with easy meal prep, simple meal plans, and a focus on real, whole foods, the goal is to help women in midlife create a healthier relationship with food, feel energized, and love their bodies again.
Lifestyle Habits: Building Real Change That Lasts
Finally, there’s the art of building habits that actually last. Without the right strategies, new habits can be tough to make stick, no matter how strong the motivation is at the beginning. But it’s not just about adding new habits—it’s also about reviewing the ones that might be holding you back. Sometimes, the routines that once worked for us no longer serve us in midlife, and small adjustments can make all the difference. This pillar is all about integrating small, meaningful changes that add up over time and become second nature. By identifying what’s working, what’s not, and making intentional shifts, you can create a lifestyle that supports—not sabotages—your success.
A Little More About Me
I live in beautiful Leamington Spa, Warwickshire—a lively, foodie town with plenty of cafes, great restaurants, and the charm of nearby Warwick Castle. Home life is busy but full with my husband and two football-mad boys, who keep me both grounded and on my toes!
Outside of work, I love to be outdoors, whether it’s gardening, foraging, or going for long walks. Cooking healthy meals is a passion, and I’m always experimenting with new recipes (often sneaking in veggies where the kids least expect it!). And I’m a lifelong learner, always keen to dive into topics like self-development, natural wellness, nutrition, and the mind-body connection.
For me, self-care is key—whether it’s yoga, reading a good book, or the occasional bit of spa time to unwind.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little better. I’m thrilled you’re here, and I look forward to helping you live your best life.
